At Wildlings we offer an experience full of joy, wisdom and wonder, delivered by our dedicated team. We understand and value how competent children can be, and how well they respond to being trusted with responsibility. We promote a ‘have a go’ attitude, encouraging children to be resourceful, inventive and creative. We believe that by following a child’s interests, they are best placed to exhibit the highest levels of engagement and involvement. Following their natural impulse to explore, enables us to fully engage with the child and embark on some truly wonderful play and learning experiences. By challenging and nurturing children equally and at the same time we aim to develop their curiosity, creativity, resilience independence and self-esteem.
Free play, fresh air, exposure to the natural world and physical activity are an integral part of learning here at Wildlings. We have a strong outdoor, natural exploration ethos as we know that this has so many benefits: regulating a child's behaviour and mood, developing their small and large muscles and building resilience and creative thinking, to name but a few.
